Instructor Support: Multimedia Classrooms
There is absolutely no food or drink in any of the FLRC rooms
The FLRC maintains several multimedia classroms for language instruction. Classrom descriptions, virtual tours, and reservation requests can be made at the Virtual FLRC.
FLRC Policy for Reserving Rooms
- Technology classrooms administered by the FLRC may be reserved according to the following policy:
- All requests for rooms must be submitted through through the Virtual FLRC
- Block (course) scheduling of FLRC instructional rooms is available for film, phonetics, or other appropriate technology-based courses.
- Requests are encouraged twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
- All requests are confirmed via email. Please do not attempt to use a room until you have received the email confirmation.
- Rooms are available on an ad hoc basis, first come, first serve. They may be scheduled one week in advance.
- Up to 5 instructional days may be reserved in advance during the current semester for ad hoc scheduling.
- Scheduling for purposes other than language teaching (e.g., film festivals, computer workshops, etc.) will be reviewed on the basis of educational value for the UNC academic community.
Note: The purpose of the policy stated above is to keep FLRC classrooms scheduled optimally but available for use on reasonably short notice. The FLRC Director will review special requests based on academic needs.
